Hello Friends

Just a quick reminder that you’ve got less than three months to knock the rust off of your golf swing and the dust off your shotgun and boots. The “2nd Annual Aaron Watson Love and Care Benefit” is scheduled for August 2-3, 2009 and it’s going to be even bigger and better than the last! What better way to raise money than FUN with GOLF, GUNS and GUITARS! On Sunday the 2nd we will have a sporting clay shoot at the Abilene Gun Club, and then I’ll play an intimate acoustic show that evening at the historic Paramount Theatre. On Monday, the 3rd, we will load the bags on the cart and hit the links at the Abilene Country Club for a day of fun in the sun.

I realize these economic hard times affect us all in some way, but there are people far worse off within our communities, living in close to third-world conditions. They are not concerned with fuel or stock market prices, but where to get their next meal or where to lay their head at night. Love and Care Ministries is dedicated to caring for the homeless and hungry both physically and spiritually but they cannot do this without you. We need your help.

If you start saving your spare change and a few bucks here and there you can help us make a huge difference. Whether you are an individual, a small business owner, or a large corporation, we hope and pray that you will find a place in your heart and your budget for the “2nd Annual Aaron Watson Love and Care Benefit” this August. Help me shed some light and love in some of the darkest places in our community!
