USA! USA! USA!

Everyone on the bus this week was some kind of Winter Olympic expert. Tensions ran high when Women's Curling was on and the rules were under discussion, haha. No final verdict was actually settled in regards to how the game is played, but we all agreed that we liked the Swiss Women's Curling team. Though we missed the Men's heartbreak hockey final (due to the fact we were driving home from Omaha and don't receive any local channels on the bus), there were no need for worries - everyone was completely content watching the NFL Combine. We're all proud Americans though, as well as Texans for that matter!

Following this past weekend's run to Kansas and Omaha and back, the Orphans have themselves a solid 10 days off from the road thanks to Lerma's wedding this coming Saturday. Aaron, on the other hand, will be using the time to work on the final, crucial songs for the up-and-coming record. Some of us, however, will be using the time to catch up on our "home relaxation" skills, haha. Well, for the most part. Chris and I will be picking up a few shows here in Austin at the Frank Erwin Center, including the John Mayer and Taylor Swift show.

Now that February is in the books (and hopefully the back side of winter), Central Texas, and all of Texas for that matter, can hopefully start seeing some warming temperatures and bright sunshine! Austin better not see another snow flake for at least another decade after last week's historic flurries!

Spring Break is just around the corner and March holds an awesome lineup for us including Cowboys - SA, Concrete Street - Corpus Christi, and Midnight Rodeo - Amarillo, just to name a few. Every Texan across the state should have a chance to come out and see us this month!
